Xtool can not write keys via dump, can not read and write ECUs. The IM508 and IM608 are giants, they have detailed info on step by step and will guide and warn you where necessary. With Xtool what you do is risky, no or limited information. Xtool is good on certain models that can be programmed via OBD. You guys can try it, atleast you have my opinion

What if the cylinder been changed out before. Those dont have the keycode on them and the waffers look different on those years without numbers stamped.

With the new update you no longer need the shim it now asks to use the M1 clamp atleast my update.

is the ignition the only place to find the key code?

Hello My Keys Automotive, I have a customer contact about a 2023 Kia Telluride to add a key, I will get my PIN thru NASTF, other that that, will the IM608 register the smart key without issues? I have only seen a up to year 2021 on youtube for that model.

Hey carnal compre dos aftermarket key fobs M3N-40821302 chip id46 para grand cherokee 2017 push start y estoy usando el im608 pro 2 y si se programan las dos llaves pero no detecta el key solo hace unlock and lock en el remote pero no prende y ya tiene dos key fobs programadas originales y sin jalan alguna vez has tenido ese problema con aftermarket keys ?
